This church loves you

Our welcome knows no boundaries of age, race, ethnicity, culture, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, physical or mental ability, religious or political beliefs.  We embrace and seek to preserve the beautiful, amazing diversity of God’s creation.

Equality & diversity

We believe every individual has the right to equal worth and dignity, equality before the law, and protections with the law, including equal opportunities to access services.  This includes our LGBTQ siblings. We are inclusive with multi-cultural themes that respect and value differences, recognizing each of us as unique and sacred beings.

Food & fellowship

Not unlike other church families, we gather often to share in a meal and conversation.  What may be different and unique is that with our multi-cultural community, you may experience our potluck foods from Pakistan to Guatemala, Korean to Tongan, or even a Texas brisket to boot. Conversation will run in as many languages that arrive to enjoy the comradery & friendship that surrounds eating great foods.

Music & the arts

Surrounded by our historic stained-glass windows and the sounds of our historic pipe organ, we value beauty in all things.  The tranquil space within our sanctuary is enjoyed by all who attend, whether it be in worship, in recital with choral, instrumental or organ, or just simply quiet reflection.

Our city

Located in the heart of downtown, our church has a passion for loving on the people of Salt Lake City and engaging with our neighbors in need. With its unique history, diverse population, vibrant bars and restaurants, and countless community events, we love calling Downtown Salt Lake our home.

Whether you are a young professional who has just moved to the city, an interracial couple walking their dog, someone without a place to call home, a passing tourist, or anyone in between, our church welcomes you to find peace in our sanctuary, friends within our walls, and purpose in service as we build a city of love, justice, and neighborliness.
